Today is Aja's first birthday!
Her birthday party was on Saturday and the rip roarin' tornadoes didn't stop us! The weather was nasty and it hit Greensboro just before it was time for us to leave at around 2pm. We waited it out and then made our way to Graham. By 3pm the sun was out and, although it was still windy, the party carried on as planned. Ashwon had been up all night cooking the pig and Annie had burgers, potato salad, coleslaw, macaroni & cheese and broccoli salad. She also had some yummy cupcakes. My belly was definitely full!
There was all sorts of princess gear from tutus to jewelry to tiaras for the girls and pirate gear for the boys.
We tried it all out on Deuce (including an earring) but he wasn't havin' much of anything.
The only thing he did enjoy was his gold chain.
And the rocks in Annie's driveway.
And Aja's new tunnel that was full of balls.
Only 3 more days until my little man is 1 and we get to do this whole party thing over again on Saturday!
