Love My Girl Bailey!

I know today is Friday and I am excited for the weekend so I don't want to depress anyone but I saw something on the way to work this morning that broke my heart.  A girl had hit a dog with her car and when I passed, the dog was laying in the middle of the road and the girl had pulled over and was sobbing beside her car.  The car in front of me pulled over and as I passed and looked in my rear view, the driver jumped out of the car and moved the dog out of the road and out of the girl's sight.  Most likely there was nothing the girl could have done, the dog was in the middle of the road (plus we were driving directly East where the sun blazes in your eyes at 7:30am), but it still hurt me to see that girl standing there, frozen and in tears over what had just happened.  For most of us, animals have such an impact in our lives.  They comfort us and love us always.  So when I get home tonight, I'm going to pick up my girl Bailey and give her a good squeeze.  And Deuce will too....he LOVES his kitty! :)
